Despite the ongoing illegal siege of Qatar, the country is keeping its arms and hearts wide open to people belonging to the four blockading nations.

Despite the ongoing blockade, Qatar is offering its world-class healthcare services to more than 10,000 patients from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, and Egypt, reported Qatar Tribune.

The newspaper quoted a source as saying that Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) received more than 4,000 patients and the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) centres about 6,000 patients from the blockading countries since the start of the crisis.

Some of the most prominent patients among them are a Bahraini expat receiving treatment for kidney failure at Hamad Bin Jassim Centre and a Saudi woman receiving treatment at National Center for Cancer Care and Research.

The PHCC has said it will continue to provide its services to patients from the four countries irrespective of the blockade.

Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) Chairman HE Sheikh Khalid bin Jabor al Thani said the Gulf crisis will never stop the organisation from bearing the cost of cancer treatment for residents who are unable to afford it.

He said the QCS covered the cost of treating 400 cancer patients, some of them from the blockading countries in 2016.

That’s the different between Qatar and other Nations.

Blocking and trying to corner Qatar in the Holy Month shows how ***** are they. But still Qatar serves their peoples without any partiality shows how cultured and how Qataris respect humanity.
