New policy states all private schools should teach Qatari history and Arabic language
From now on, private schools in the country should teach students Qatar history as well as the Arabic language, according to the latest academic follow-up policy published by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
The policy states that private schools should introduce non-Muslim students to Islamic culture by shedding light on it through by teaching Qatar history and Arabic language.
Schools should also ensure that Muslim students are provided with Islamic lessons, according to a report in Qatar Tribune.
The onus will be on schools to hire experienced teachers in these subjects. Schools are required to be committed to religious principles and Qatari culture.
In addition, schools will be responsible about ensuring there are no materials available that contradict Islamic teachings and the community values.
You can perform whatever side acts you desire, but, it will never be mandatory in Indian board syllabus.
