QR 250,000 relief aid for Philippines from Qatar Red Crescent

Qatar Red Crescent, a local charity organisation that is part of ICRC in Geneva, has allocated 250,000 QAR to relieve the suffering of 5,000 families over the next months six months.
This swift response came hours after extensive damage was caused by Typhoon Hayian in the Philippines.

Wow, QR50.00 for each family over the next 6 months = QR8.00 a month per family. At least it is something I suppose but how it made the news I don't know.
