The Red Arrows return to Qatar this month
After four long years, the United Kingdom’s iconic Royal Air Force team, Red Arrows, is returning to Qatar to perform on 30th September. They are one of the world’s premier aerobatic display teams.
The British Embassy in Qatar made the announcement of their impending arrival on Twitter, and mentioned "the display will start at 4:30pm”. The RAF Red Arrows or the ‘Reds’ are on a five week tour of the Middle East that will take them to eight different countries.

Representing the speed, agility and precision of the RAF, “the team is the public face of the service”.
The last time the Reds visited to perform in Qatar was in November 2013, showing off their precision formations and colourful smoke trails along the Doha Corniche.
The British Defence Secretary Sir Michael Fallon stated: “This historic Red Arrows tour will be a visible demonstration of UK engagement across the globe, flying the flag to promote Britain in important capitals through the GREAT campaign.”
“The tour (of RAF Red Arrows) will highlight the partnership with the British Armed Forces in each nation visited, as well as demonstrating that the UK is ‘open for business’, committed to peace and security, and a leading player on the global stage,” the Ministry of Defence said.
The visit comes at around the same time that the UK agreed to sell 24 Typhoon fighter jets to Qatar.
