The headless body of a person, suspected to be a road traffic accident victim, was found on Street 27 of the Doha Industrial Area early Sunday, according to a report in an online newspaper.

The newspaper quoted a person, who reportedly claimed to be at the scene of the accident, as saying that the victim was hit by a truck.

A source told Gulf Times that the deceased probably came from the northern Indian state of Punjab. Unconfirmed reports said he had been working for the municipality.
