Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan to visit Qatar on November 15
Ever since the illegal siege of Qatar began on June 5, Turkey has stood steadfastly besides the country. It provided Qatar with much needed food and also send its own troops to ensure the country’s safety.
Now, it is understood that Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan will travel to Qatar next week, reported Gulf Times.
It is understood that Erdogan will visit Doha on Wednesday, following his scheduled trips to Russia and Kuwait, reported The Peninsula.
Turkey has increased its trade relations with Qatar since the start of the embargo and the two countries have held joint military exercises in the Gulf state. Turkey also has a military base in Qatar, where it says it will deploy 3,000 troops.
