Woqod opens brand new petrol station in the New Salata area
Qatar Fuel (Woqod) has opened a new petrol station at the New Salata area.
It is the second Woqod station to open this year and is the 60th across the company’s total network of petrol pumps around the country, reported Gulf Times.
The New Salata petrol station is spread over 9,634.43SqM and offers round-the-clock services to residents of New Salata area. It includes a Sidra convenience store, auto wash facility, auto repair, tire services, sale of LPG cylinders in addition to sale of gasoline and diesel products, reported The Peninsula.
The station is also equipped with Woqod’s unique RFID-based electronic payment service.
“Woqod aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products, and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort,” said Woqod CEO Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi.
“We’re currently engaged in the construction of 28 petrol station projects. Most of them are expected to be operational this year,” he added.
