Qatar stresses united Arab stance in support of Palestinians
Qatar has called for a unified decision from all members of the Arab League to move actively on the international arena in support of the Palestinian people and put an end to Israeli aggression.
Much of this violence can be categorized as war crimes and must be prevented, Qatar highlighted during the extraordinary session of the League of Arab States at the level of foreign ministers, held yesterday.
The session was held virtually under the presidency of Qatar.
In his speech during the meeting, His Excellency Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani said that the occupied city of Al Quds and Al Aqsa mosque are seeing a ferocious escalation by the Israeli occupation.

It is seen in raising the level of Judaization and illegal settlement that can only be described as ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and all that is not Jewish by Jewish settlers who admitted on camera to stealing Palestinian homes, HE the FM pointed out.
The issue is not limited to a single incident of owning a number of homes in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, but falls under a larger plan by radical settlement groups in Arab neighborhoods, HE Sheikh Mohammed said.
These groups consider it a religious and national duty to displace all Arabs and have been supported by the Israeli government and law, he added.
Israel has been running largescale operations of settlement and Judaization, and with the recent attacks on worshippers in Al Aqsa mosque it is looking to make it common practice, HE the minister said.
HE the FM mentioned that the vile acts of terrorizing worshippers with stun grenades and bullets in Al Aqsa mosque by Israeli forces completely disregarded the holy month of Ramadan and the feelings of Muslims across the world.
Drawing attention to the severe violations of human rights, HE Sheikh Mohammed called on Arab and Islamic countries as well as the international community to stand up against Israel’s racist approach.
He said the start of this stance against Israeli oppression would be ending all forms of support to the Israeli occupation's forces.
HE the FM also condemned the criminal attack in which Israeli forces shelled Gaza, killing and injuring several people, including women and children.
HE Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed Qatar's strong position regarding the fairness of the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people, including their rights to religious practice and establishing an independent state based on the borders of 1967 with East Al Quds as its capital.
He mentioned that Qatar is hopeful the meeting will lead to an active and united Arab position to end these attacks and violations.
