Hello to all,

Some of you knew me...Yes :-) I reject the offer of Qatar Airways and looking for the better opportunity!! can anyone please help me to find out the future of Technical Writers in the IT Middle East and Doha? Since for last 3 years I am working in the same domain.. its all about writing documentation for the technology.. in the form of Usermanual's, Online help, Content management writing, purposal documents.

I'm a technical writer and editor and will be moving to Doha mid year. I'm also interested in the Doha technical writing market, but will hold off actively looking for jobs until a bit later in the year. However if anyone has any news they can share now, I'd like to hear it, too.

Also, there might be plenty of technical writing going on, but what about editing? From what I've seen (having lived and worked as a writer in Doha before), plenty of people claim to be able to write but their English isn't always that crash hot. Are companies interested in hiring editors as well as writers?
