You don't need to insult people. That's one of the community guidelines here.

I love it when people post this saying they need a job, and others start posting thinking its become a job search post. Lol

without HR no one would have a job. Most of us in HR got our 4 year degree the hard way, earned it, in business management. It's not as easy as you think, and very demanding job.with rude staff like you coach roach.

For HR professionals in Qatar, there is a dedicated website, www.qatarhr.net.

You can network, exchange information of vacancies, ideas of practice, online and offline alike. Online wise, there is a Qatar HR forum in the website, www.qatarhr.net/forum; Offline wise, there are Qatar HR network meetings and events to be held in Doha.

Training programs are also available and can be requested to organize...

What you are commenting on (round peg in round hole) is only one element of HR.

If HR works properly no one notices. In an operational role, a mistake tends to have immediate consequences. HR can slowly deteriorate without anyone noticing until the system suddenly collapses. It's probably only then that its value is acknowledged. I am not saying that it's more important than such as operational jobs but it has its part to play.

Ok mohamed, I can see you drank th HR koolaide and are brainwashed into thinking you are important. Any monkey can swing if the vines are in place. Your job is as simple as matching job skills with job requirements and future requirements. Put the round peg into the round hole, the square peg into the square hole and so on. All the requirements are laid out for you and you just have to match them up. This is an entry level skill and anyone who makes this a lifelong career is taking the low road. HR has its place, but it is such a small part of any organization. When you screw it up, everyone notices. By the way, empty my trash can since you have nothing to do.

The most people’s think about that HR department & HR staff are useless. But it is not factual HR like as a CPU of an organization. Without HR department we can’t sustain in rapidly changing business environment, then without HR staff ………………………how u can?

Hi! I am currently working as an HR Specialist here in the Philippines but I'm planning to try my luck in Qatar. I've been trying to inquire in recruitment agencies and have been browsing several sites to check on openings for HR but most of the job opportunities I see are for engineers.

Is it really hard to get an HR-related job in Qatar or in the Middle-East for that matter due to Qatarization? Pls help.. I hope you could also advise us of current HR-related job vacancies. Thank you!

in government organisations is to recruit nationals as HR staff as HR is considered to be easily "nationalised".

If they require specialist skills, they generally advertise overseas.

There are agencies that specialise in Mid-East recruitment but most European/US agencies have vacancies in the region.

A search on Google will reveal mid-east sites such as Bayt.

Oil majors and service contract companies (Hallis, Baker etc)may also recruit
