Job with Qatar Gas

Hi everyone,
I am planning to move to Qatar as I may accept a job with Qatar Gas. The salary offer for the position is in par with my present job in Australia. I would like to know:
[a] What do they usually ask at the interview as my interview will be via phone?
[b] How long it takes Qatar Gas to send you the contract of employment?
[c] Is is possible to convert an Australian Driving Licence to a Qatari Driving Licence?
[d] Any car websites that you know in Qatar where I can look for Car prices to buy one?

Anyones input would be great.
Take care

Very intersting comments on diabetes.

How about B.P. 60-70% of people normally are affected by High or Low B.P. How can that be criteria for rejection. Isnot it going a bit too far.

Thanks for your information. I think I will be joining the business section, still not confirmed.

If you have diabetes, how would an employer say that you are unfit for work. I dont have diabetes, its a query. Is it the same everywhere in Qatar, if you have Diabetes you wont get a job?

Let me know. Thanks once again.

Be prepared for a 2nd interview in Doha. For 2 days you will be interviewed both technically and by HR. Also you will undergo a thorough medical exam- if you have symtoms of diabetes, BP OR irregular heart beat forget your dream of joining QatarGas. They are very sensetive on medical.

As for phone interview it will be basically be by HOD you will be joining.

By the way which department are you interested in?
