Management Opportunities

Hello, i will be in Doha in the week of March 29th and would like to set a few interviews with prospective employers; Qatari national groups.

I have over 18yrs of Post Grad experience and an MBA from a "The Economist" Top 20 programs. My work experience has been in Marketing & sales (Manufacturing, Telecom, Paper & Board, Chemicals) culminating in a General Management position. Right now i work for an MNC in a P&L management role in a subsidiary in S. Asia.

Any suggestion with regards to where to start, which employers to target, how to be proactive in my search (w/o disturbing the cart. Emails/web contacts are passive search modes and i will not be there long enough for the results, if any, to filter through).

Thanks in advance to all those who take time out to guide.

Smart and intellegent guy dont waste your talent in Qatar but utilize it in some IT firm in India. They will pay you a hell of a lot compared to what you will get here. Rest you know whats best for you.

I am afraid you can't just pop in and ask for an interview. You should submit your CV electronically to the companies you are interested in working with. Then, phone them to find out if there is a possibility to meet them while you are in the country.
