Dear kabayan,

I would like to ask if any one newly grad in the Philippines applied in Qatar immediately?

Actually its not for me, to answer your question, he just wanted to go to Qatar since his barkadas are already there. However, what bothers him is the DFA authentication if ever since I think it may take a few months before he can get his diploma and TOR as well, he told me he can only get certification of graduation and certified true copy of grades which I think can also be attested. Is the attested certification of graduation and grades enough?

You can check Bayt.com or Monstergulf.com for any vacancies here and throughout the GCC, but chances are slim since most opportunities require a level of experience at their respective fields/careers - that is if you want to invite reasonable offers in the field of studies that you took up in college...

Best advise I could give you is to try to gain experience (at least 4 years minimum) before venturing abroad. This way you'll have enough skill and expertise to contribute to your prospective company, should you by then, would still like to work overseas.

There are many opportunities in the Philippines right now since the economy is picking-up despite the current global recession being experienced. In fact most Pinoy OFW professionals are seriously considering repatriating.

Let me ask you, why to you want to venture out at this point in your career?
