Hi, I'm a catering company owner in PORTUGAL. I have been in Doha last month to identify business opportunity, and i have find some. The most interesting business for me is a restaurant, with a kind of offer (food plus service) that Doha still doesn't have. It would be a major success since day 1. I have already some contacts in Doha.
I take very serious HACCP control and workers medical and safety control also. I have more than 18 years of experience in catering special events. Looking for the right partner.

To give you some more guidance on the deal, here's a few points that I think are very important.
I now study the laws and economic reality Qatari to eight months. I know the supply on the market and I also know where I can intervene to make a difference.
So I went to Qatar (Doha) a month ago in person to know the current market offering and I've been to several restaurants in several different places.
Also, I already know all the local suppliers that I will use for my business partners (food suppliers, retail, equipment, etc.).
I have restaurant equipment (cutlery, glasses, dishes, kitchen equipment, chairs, etc.) to 1000pax, just send through a container for Doha.
I have the business, just need the right partner.
First you will need a Qatari National to be the "sponsor" of your business so that you can start your restaurant. A local sponsor does not imply financial sponsorship or partnership. Of course you may get a local national who will be willing to "sponsor" the business and will also be interested in investing in the business.
