That is what it is, do you have any ideas other wise? Please enlighten me.

"ME rulers they cannot be accused of taking bribes for contracts which will work against the best interests of their country in the long run , and most importantly stashing away illegal money in Swiss accounts, which were siphoned off from public"

who are you talking about? Be specific. Qatar? Who else?

By anonymous• 21 Feb 2011 08:29

By all means I will share my knowledge with the questioning "US"

Politics of Qatar takes place in an undemocratic framework of an absolute monarchy whereby the Emir of Qatar is not only head of state, but also the head of government.

Satisfacrory?:P

i'm asking you, what is the type of Government in Qatar?

kindly share your knowledge with us :)

HAHAHA, are you not aware of the Kindoms of ME, Are you living in Qatar? Tell me , what is the type of Government in Qatar? Let's get to the neighbouring countries latter!

By anonymous• 21 Feb 2011 08:04

which countries???

By anonymous• 21 Feb 2011 08:03
anonymous

I am talking about the ME Leaders of countries with no trace of or claims to Democracy Ref:my post "One ruler-His state -His law is better". And may I remind you the OP's question was a choice for Democracy or other wise , To which my Answer still remains, let me simplify it for you "One ruler-His state -His law is better"- ie, Kingdom ruled by a king. Now , don’t worry your brains too much about the "holes" I claim to be digging, as it's none of your business, trying to decipher the correct meaning of written words itself looks too much for you.

By anonymous• 21 Feb 2011 07:54
anonymous

so it was you!!! Who says the ME rulers rule for the best interest of their country? Jordanians? Iraqis? Morocan's? Tunisians? Egyption's?? Bahraini's? Saudi's?? Libyian's??

You have dug yourself into a hole and you keep digging.

point 2????

"You keep them dumb, and I'll keep them poor, said the king to the pope"

For all the vices of the ME rulers they cannot be accused of taking bribes for contracts which will work against the best interests of their country in the long run , and most importantly stashing away illegal money in Swiss accounts, which were siphoned off from public. All rulers democratically elected or other wise live in a comfortable state of luxury off public money, these Swiss account s are apart from these rightful state expenses, as it’s rulers.

Is this you?

"ME is doing fine as it is with out a corrupt bribe taking govt"

"Two perfect examples of why one nation's version of democracy can't be imposed successfully on people who don't want it"

what happened to point 2?

By anonymous• 21 Feb 2011 07:28
anonymous

Lets start with pont number 3.

Where exactly did you read that claim of "Mine"?

And no corruption in ME, Dude are you refering to my posts or some one elses, Read care full.

By anonymous• 21 Feb 2011 07:22
anonymous

Polkadots : couple of questions

1. no corruption in middle east?? You kidding me right?

2. which countries have watered dowm democracys and which have your so called "full democracy"?

3. What do you have to back up your claim that the US is trying to bring democracy to Iraq and Afganistan?

Some democractic countries have a watered down version of democracy which limits the power of the people, and some others are fully democratic to the point of public abuse of that power,ME is doing fine as it is with out a corrupt bribe taking govt, so I would say The current practice of One ruler-His state -His law is better. At least there will not be a mad rush to fill one's own and the party's pockets before the term ends.

ex ex expat- I totally diagree with your claim. In fact all the evidence points the other way. The US is terrified of democracy reaching the middle east.

Like Ex.Expat: I don't care: But I will like to add that it will depend on the people of the country, their understanding of democracy. Some country may deserve it, some may not.

I like democracy and it works in my country.

sectarian tension is a tool created by dictators supported by your government

Muslims & copts have never been united the way they were the past few weeks.

plus , Afghanistan & Iraq can't be really taken as a role model of democracy in this region for so many reasons i'm too bored to list right now ;)

Maybe we need to ask Osama bin laden, te taliban and every jerk, for his opinion and all those great minds of terrorism of 21 century, what do they think of Democracy?

What all this kingdoms need to start doing is to start caring of their own, regardless of the religious sect, example Shiates and sunnis issues.

Very few are capable, but the rest are just incapable of nothing.

I agree with Flanastu comments,

absolutely not. why, they're incapable at most things in life.

amazyvista, it seems u have a perverted understanding of the whole socio-political situation in the middle east. that is apparent with the "yes-no"/"black-white" naive understanding of politics. But what really takes the cake is choice D, which shows you clearly know nothing about politics or history. it is a shame to compare communists/marxists who struggle for social equality in societies to the arab dictators who are greedy and care about nothing. As a communist who had his revolutionary uncle beaten up and exiled from my country, i would like to say this to you in the most respectable way: f**k you
