NATO Occupation Forces Kill Afghan Woman

NATO occupation soldiers killed an Afghan civilian woman during a raid on a house in the eastern province of Khost, in an alleged attempt to capture a Taliban commander, ISAF said.

According to a NATO statement when the occupation troops were chasing the suspect through a walled compound they opened fire after seeing a gun pointing towards them from a room. The troops later found they had killed a woman, an ISAF statement added.
"Inside the room, they found one woman dead and another with a minor wound as a result of the gunfire." it said.

Civilian casualties are an extremely sensitive issue in Afghanistan, especially when caused by the US-led NATO occupation force.
According to a recent UN report more than 1,200 Afghan civilians lost their lives in violence in the first half of the year, about 31 percent higher than in the same period last year.

Any civilian will no longer be considered a non-combatant if they take up arms...It makes no differance in the gender or age of a person...If you have not been in combat, you do not know what its like when you look down the barrel of a gun!

NATO's and US armies are doing the same job in self defence for last nine years.

Just wondering if it is new or old. As a matter of fact killing 'reported' civilians is becoming norm in Afghanistan.

"they opened fire after seeing a gun pointing towards them from a room"

Women who shoulder arms have as much right to die as men doing the same.
