today i really proud to be a PAKISTANI as whenever Indian team came to PAKISTAN or our team going to INDIA, we give maximum protection and welcome by heart,,,,,even indians also welcome our team ( plz, dont mention what happend with srilanka team as all knows that no pakistani involve in that incident) but what i see now that 2 muslim countries fighting and blaming each other because of ONE FOOTBALL GAME, cmon guys, this is just a GAME, we lost from india in world cup Quaterfinals, we beat india in INDIA but such kind of incidents never happen....please,you are muslims, forget it everything and be united as UNITED WE STRONG,,,,,both teams play really well and i perosnaly enjoy the match, hard luck to egypt but this is game,,,,next time insha ALLAH

before i had respct for egyptians , i cried so many times when i read or see something bad about egypt

but now i do hate them so much for what they did to us ,we were their gusts in their land , algerians playres and supporters were slightly hurt and 1 killed and they keep saying we are liars ...they did want it , as we Algerians our mind stuck in some level if its seen over the limite, now we are blind .

It all started by Algerians burning our flag, and insulting us and our country. And coming into our country and making a scene about themselves and pretending they're being attacked by Egyptians. The evidences reveled that this was an act by Algerians to show the bad host of Egypt.

but any way relationships were fine it was only football thing.

afterwards in the first match of algeria vs egypt in algeria. algerian crowd did keep make a noise under the hotel where the egyptian team were staying so they dont sleep. they called the police but no one helped

and next day the team players got poisned by food in the hotel. as arabs.. egyptians didnt cos any problem of that and didnt even go to fifa to show. or make a memo. and egyptian team said: as we r arabs we r sure its only a mistake, and may be its a fault from the kitchen.

players played and they were being treated by medicnes against poisin. 2 players couldnt play. and the coach was poisned as well.

after wards when algeria were going to play against rowanda and we did just won against zambia. algerian media said: egypt is gonna fall and no egypt any more after the match with rowanda even the match did come to happen

but the problem is they show pics of algeriens burning our flag as if we r israel. making our flag on a coffin and treating it in a bad way.

i know algerians r always firing up people ... but when we keep silent and it comes to insultation then stop.

they did show our coach as a lady and there coach as a man and they r going to get married in our staduim in cairo.

they did put a pic of our players with the head of egyptian actresses.

is that the freedom there?

there prime minister and the minister of foriegn affairs and the Embassador in egypt. did deny that any of this did happen and did say that there is no even injuries.

now algerians attacked the egyptian embassy

and other indvidual shops and companies.

by the way : algerien journalists did attack egyptian journalists after match in cairo in cairo staduim and when egyptians started to fight back the police was there to stop this madness.

For the Algerians, Egyptian security officials and the media added insult to the injuries by saying that the Algerian team faked the attack.

The Egyptian press reported that an initial investigation showed the Algerians had smashed the windows of the bus with emergency hammers.

The violence had repercussions abroad too.

An angry crowd attacked the homes of Egyptian workers at M'sila in southeastern Algeria, while a group of young men ransacked the building of an Egyptian company, reports said.

Nevertheless Egyptian supporters set up a roadblock outside the stadium, smashing the windows of at four busses carrying Algerian fans, leaving the street littered with broken glass, an AFP reporter said.

A nearby police anti-riot unit did not intervene.

Security forces said only one bus had been attacked, with three Algerian fans suffering light injuries.

The rival national teams have a history of bad blood, with riots breaking out after Egypt defeated Algeria in a 1989 match in Cairo.

Algeria player Lakhdar Belloumi was tried in absentia and sentenced to prison in Egypt for seriously injuring the Egyptian team doctor with a bottle after that match.

Interpol issued an arrest warrant for Belloumi over the incident.

Egypt last qualified for the World Cup in 1990, and Algeria in 1986.

Thousands of Algerians held a spontaneous rally Sunday in the capital Algiers in support of their national football team, which degenerated into attacks on Egyptian businesses.

The rally in central Algiers began with fans chanting "One, two, three, Go Algeria!" as they thronged Air Algeria's city-centre offices trying to get tickets to travel to Sudan for the second leg World Cup football qualifying match against Egypt in Khartoum on Wednesday.

But it later descended into violence when fans broke through the metal shutters to smash the window and ransack the offices of Egypt Air, an AFP journalist said.

The offices of mobile telephone company Djeezy, part of the Egyptian telecommunications group Orascom, was also ransacked, the website of the El Watan daily reported.

The company also said one of its employees was assaulted at Algiers airport.

Twenty Algerians were injured in clashes in and around Cairo after Saturday's first round match, according to Egyptian police, which Egypt won 2-0 to keep alive its hopes to travel to South Africa next year.

Egyptian and Algerian fans have a long history of violence.
