Qatar’s leadership expressed support for the will of the Egyptian people today following the ousting of President Mohamed Morsi, according to Al Jazeera.

New Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani “sent a cable of congratulations” to Egypt’s interim president Adli Mansour.

A source in the Qatari Foreign Ministry is also quoted by Al Jazeera as saying: "Qatar will continue to respect the will of Egypt and its people across the spectrum.”

Congratulations to all the Egyptians in Qatar, and the world!

The new President has said that he wants inclusivity for all. YET, he authorizes the arrests of the main opposition party leaders and workers.

Egyptians should be careful, now they empowered the army well supported abroad of course. That is stupid and dictatorship can back to Egypt unfortunately...but hope i'm wrong.

Is the new temp president christian?? If it is the case, how is it possible since he does not represent the majority of the population?

It looks like a new puppet has arrived...

The Army's role in forcing out Mursi's departure sets a worrying precedent for the future of democratically elected governments in the region.

This is not unity. It is destruction of democracy and empowerment of an armed forces who have no place in government.

If you lend a country $8 billion you have to stay friendly with them if you want to get your money back.
