Ramadan….I Do want to lose those kilos

Remember Ramadan is a great chance for you to lose those few kilos that you have been complaining about all year round. I know that many of you gain weight during Ramadan rather than lose it but this is because of our bad habits. But if you took the decision, trust me, you can do it. The trick is, believe it or not, to stay away from TV!! Yes, TV is the number one factor that triggers unhealthy, unnecessary eating. The other trick would be to start praying Tarawee7 at the mosque everyday and this will be your exercise during Ramadan. If you start today, you will find yourself unwilling to eat too much at breakfast tomorrow because you will want not to be too heavy for prayer. By the time Sohour comes, you will find yourself not very much willing to eat, keep it that way and don't eat. Instead have some sour milk or dried figs & dates for energy.

Ramadan….I Do want to take the time for myself

Everybody is under the impression that no one has the time to do anything but in fact, you have plenty of time but you are too consumed to see it. You go to work late than usual, you work less than usual, you leave work earlier than usual and you go to bed later than usual. So you can take the time to meditate a little before break fast time. If you never had the time to make this face mask, now you do after breakfast. If it was too tight for you to even read Quran, now you can listen to it before you go to bed. So do not let those blessed days pass you by without benefiting from them.

Ramadan….I Do want to catch up with my family & friends

If you have been curled up working all your past months with few social encounters, now is the time to bring those loose ties firmly knotted once again. Call instead of messaging the friends that you hadn’t called for long and see how they are doing. Make a day for a nice friendly breakfast in a nice restaurant. Visit your relations and make room for breakfast one day with each of them and enjoy what you are doing. Sohour is also a very good idea to see your loved ones if you don’t want to burden them by preparing a break fast table.

Ramadan….I Do want to take this pledge

We all have a tendency to waste time and forget about the things that we really love doing. So if you have been wanting for the past year to learn playing the guitar or to take that jewelry design course or to do anything you have passion for, and you still didn’t, now is the right time to bring this pledge true. So go ahead and take the step right now and book those classes and start just right after Eid. By the time you are at your class, you will be smiling and thanking Ramadan for it.

Ramadan….I Do want to help people

Charity work and doing good is always in the air but when Ramadan comes, the time is right to enhance those efforts and go that extra mile to help the poor, the orphans, the homeless, the sick and the people with very limited income. You will find many windows of opportunities to help those people, all what you have to do is look around to find them. If you think you don't have the time to do that, I am sure that you would love to spare any good amount of money in any mosque or with any person in charge of charity work in your area, or to even anyone you know that will appreciate your help.

Ramadan….I Do want to know how to cook

If so, now is an excellent chance to experiment and enjoy the pleasure of being able to cook for a whole family. And here on MSN you have an excellent medium that will make this a very easy experience. Here you will find at your finger tips all recipes for main dishes, soups, salads and deserts and all what your heart wishes for. So just visit the "Special Recipes" section and jot down the ingredients and directions and you are fully set to be the cook of the month.

Ramadan….I do want to be a better person

To many people, Ramadan means bad temper and rough treatment with no mercy. While in fact Ramadan is the time God had chosen to bring down his mercy onto his people. So the decision is yours, you can always choose to be the bigger person and not lose your temper if someone slashed your lane, you can always choose to forgive someone who had caused you harm, and you can also start blaming yourself first instead of throwing it on everyone else. You can also squeeze your brain and remember who you borrowed money from and return this money at once and you can also choose to forgive any person who borrowed money from you and didn’t return it.
