Hi All,

I have been offered this job which will require me to be based out of Doha and the salary offered(Net Takehome)is 20,000 QR/Month. I don't have anyone in Doha who can give me a first hand information about the cost of living there. Request your help in ascertaining if this salary is good enough to lead a comfortable life? I'am a bachelor and the company is providing a fully furnished flat for which they will deduct 6000QR/Month from my annual compensation.

It all depends what's your definition of "good", your standard of living, your work experience etc. etc. It might be OK for an Indian national, but others will have to comment on that aspect.

Read the link, which was written for a Canadian:

and adapt the expense part to a single person. Good luck.
