hmmmm... i am not sure if that would affect my decision of visiting Beirut this year.

Last year, I was advised strongly by the British Home Office against visiting Pakistan but I obviously did. I was surprised to see that over 25 white people flew to Islamabad with me. When I arrived at Islamabad airport, the whole of the airport was deserted as the security was on high alert that night. All the people who had come to receive friends and families were standing outside the airport and nobody looked worried. Based on my short trip, i discovered that life by buzzing in Isb/Rwl and people did not look miserable.

I believe I will find Beirut similar and may God protect all the innocent.
