Advertising and Marketing Executives

Just wanna ask advertising and marketing executives how they assess the effectivity of a particular media, say a magazine, newspaper and tv before placing their ad.
Like in a magazine, if a company says in their profile that they are printing 20,000 copies monthly, how sure are you that they are really printing such amount? What if the actual printing is only not less than 5%. Do you think you are reaching your supposed to be target market? Did you try calling the printing company to check how many magazine are actually printed monthly?

They probably have a good ads sales team. Possibly some good looking Lebanese women.
i know a motor magazine company here in doha declare from their profile 15000 copies monthly but if you check from the printing press they only printed 750 copies... what really surprised me was the number of ads in the magazine, it's full pack.
I don't check for the numbers printed, I check for the numbers sold!
