I just opened a topic to know which was according to you the best movie of the Festival. For me without any doubt for me was Grozny Dream, but the Festival is not yet over. Look forward to the documentaries of today.

Today is the Closing Ceremony at 7pm..! awardings will be done..i wanna see who wins..!!!!!!

sorry birdie, till now i never found any... i enquired for the ones i liked..but it seems they aint releasing the CD for timebeing...dont know if it will be avalaible in future..!! but evn thou it is, it would be difficult to track where it is available for purchase. :)

I saw couple of movie yesterday..... AMAZING i should comment... the last show in Salwa 1 was "New Muslim Cool" .. hatts off to Jennifer Hartley for her work & direction....!!!

altogether, all movies are really nice & brings awareness to different societies.

I think any documentary films is great to watch even there is no synopsis... u can read between the title! ;)

There is plenty of information about the movies! If you happen to go, there are stands with brochures and everything. Excellent quality brochures with photos, and in English and Arabic.

I have watched wonderful films this and in the previous festivals but I agree, as in the previous years, there is very little promotion.

Yesterday I really enjoyed 'Jinga 48', a very brave film about how Palestinian youth living in Israel is somehow losing in danger to lose their 'arab' identity. I was moved to tears, even though I have nothing to do with the topic. I was embracing the actors and the director at the end of the movie (they were walking nearby, I could not help it!) Unfortunately the kids speak little English but they were great and it is really important that other people realise you are never too young to be proud of who you are. Well done, Ms Ula.....(sorry, haven't got the brochure right now to tell you the director's last name), hope you continue making films like this one.

Just a pity there is no information available about each film. Even a synopsis of 3 sentences would help us to chose the doccies we want to see. At the moment it is "pot luck".
