Am I employable in Qatar

Hi, I really want to move to Qatar, I'm a UK business graduate with 5 years China experience working in International Trade and briefly in Finance, I speak fluent English, French, Arabic, Spanish and Chinese.

Ive tried Bayt, Gulfcareers etc already and I'm still waiting for news.

Are there companies that would employ me or is there simply too much competition?

Any help or advice would really be much appreciated. Many thanks

I just tried for JOB for more then 2 months.I got 2,3 offers But they are very low compare tomy present salary. If you do not have any salary consideration you can get any JOB here. But if you have some standard salary wishes then you have to wait and find as much as you can get right JOB.

Walk in - and drop your resume, ... it works, also ur networks.

as designhvac said, After govt Budget things will flourish, Already few great projects are announced so we can expect a big BOOM.

As one suggested aim for Western / European companies ie; MNC's. They have well defined policy, and its admirable.

Being an experienced person in International trade, I think it is better for u to do your own business. And also why you are focusing just Qatar. You can do the business globally.

Presently There is no much BOOM here. But from next year there will be more jobs. You must try in MNC and Western companies.2013 March New Budget going to release by Qatar Govt. So there may be signal for some bog projects to be start.
