Sorry I could not go through all the post in the forum, but to quickly answer your question.

Since you are using Windows Operating system, its advisable to install .cab files and if you are looking for best suitable application for Windows based Pocket PC try using http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com

I have all most all application listed on there website and i am a big fan of it.

or do this

Don't install any jar or jad file from PC, send the file to My Documents in ur mobile and run from ur my documents in ur mobile.

This method will work if ur Mobile has Java Midlet Manager.

jad and jar files r for Java installed phones.

Most of the color phones have java and Java is especially for them.

sis files r for Symbian installed phone like Nokia 6600 onwards.

As urs is Windows Mobile Operating system, u have to install Java in it to open Jad and jar Files.

Could u tell me whether ur windows is 5 or 3

As far i know .jar and .jad files are for pocket pcs Especially... and i think it doesnt have java install.... Am I rite? If i am then where can i install java.. i searched alot but dint find rite version :(
