transatlantic as this is our company policy. For flights to Europe, I have to fly business class with all the plebs. It sucks. I am going to Geneva next week and just hope they upgrade me to first class as it is so much more in keeping with my lifestyle.

FYI I am more of a Pierre Lanvin kind of guy than Louis Vitton but hey, that's just me.

Any movie accompanied by an unlimited supply of free alcohol (that you don't even have to get up for) will get a thumbs up from me.

Well, only one thmub up, since I'll be holding a drink in my other hand.

Is it really good marhabtain? I was on a Qatar Airways flight recently (first class) but couldn't be bothered to watch any movies though I did notice that movie was playing.

Thanks for the recommendation, Marhabtain.

But in my experience, even the worst movies seem super when you're stuck on a plane when you have to choose between staring at the seatback, ceiling or a movie.

I've raved about a heap of movies that on the plane I enjoyed, but in any other situation I could only have endured.

(Does the 'yippeeee! Hic' comment at the end of your post indicate that you also helped yourself to the magic trolley that came rattling down the aisle laden with liquour?)

The movies have been so awful lately I've got so desperate I've begun reading books again. I never thought I would get that bored.

Am I the only one who saw the ad for 'Beverley Hills Chihuahua' and thought... well, compared to all the other crap around, this one actually looks okay?

I missed it and I will make sure I don't see it.

Did anyone see "The other Boleyn Girl"? I think I want to see it.

If you thought "Wanted" was one of the worst films ever made, you surely missed "All the boys love Mandy Lane".

In fact, I left my boxed set of Sex and the City behind because I wasn't sure it would get through Customs. Some of the episodes are shown on TV here though. The movie will come out on DVD eventually, so maybe I'll just have to wait!

This was one of the worst movies I have ever seen and I have seen a lot of crap movies over the years. Has anyone seen Sex and the City yet? Will it even be shown here?

The Justin Timberlake "Love Sounds Future Sex" cd was banned here on account of the title alone. Maybe the same will happen with Sex and the City.

That's exactly why I don't go to the cinemas to see movies or buy DVD's before screening them first.....
