Arabs against Israel

Hey all, Living amongst the Arab, you should learn a few things among our culture. We have been affected by the Arab Israeli conflict for over six decades now. That means there are many generations who witness the massacres and the murders of many of our fellow Palestinians. When observing any demonstration, either pictures or video footage, you must be aware of what the history of the people. Many have witnessed, as well as experienced, things that we have never imagined. Back in the U.S. no-one knows what goes on to the Palestinians. Many times, Israel kills women and children and it is not announced and even when (something small such as) Israel cut the power from Gaza, CNN announced it one or two times. It was not a "priority". But when Palestinians retaliate, whether there were any deaths at all, it is on the news numerous times. We must open our eyes and examine some of the facts that occur in Palestine and the Israeli mentality before judging any of the actions we see in these demonstrations. The Israeli actions have terrified the Arabs and will never be forgotten!

"the US would open the gates of hell..."

there was an arab country that was growing into a powerful nation, big army, good industry, self-independance, patriot, anti-israel, even dared shoot some missiles on Israel in 1991....and sunddenly it was an "axis of evil" country, had "weapons of mass destruction", had no "democracy & human rights" (unlike all the countries in the ME), was a "threat" to the "stability" of the region....blablabla...so they had to invade it, destroy it, execute its leader, and replace him with "honest" leaders who have brought "security, democracy, safety, freedom, human rights, prosperity, and PEACE" to the people.

("they" only missed 1 thing: to wait for a UN resolution to invade that country)

Ezekiel 47: 13-20 provides a post-exilic definition of borders. The definition in Ezekiel describes the Land of Israel which, according to Ezekiel's prophecy, is a repeat of the promised land with tribal allocations for Israel to return to after their captivity (Ezekiel was during the Babylonian captivity after the fall of Jerusalem in 597 and 586 BCE by Nebuchadnezzar). The definition is a reminder that both God's promise and desire for Israel was not canceled completely by the situation that led to captivity. The borders of the land described by the text in Ezekiel include the northern border of modern Lebenon, eastwards (the way of Hethlon) to Zedad and Hazar-enan in modern Syria; south by southwest to the area of Busra on the Syrian border (area of Hauran in Ezekiel); follows the Jordan River between the West Bank and the land of Gilead to Tamar (Ein Gedi) on the western shore of the Dead Sea; From Tamar to Meribah Kadesh ( Kadeh Barnea), then along the Brook of Egypt.

Israel deserves the promise land if we read and understand the bible says.

we get it trael, you're a Jew. No matter what you quote it will not change people's rooted feelings.

I'm confident that if Israel started to actually support and KEEP their promised peace treaties rather than constantly break deals, they'd get more respect from Arab countries.

Numbers 34:1-15 describes the land allocated to the Israelite tribes after the Exodus. The tribes of Reuben, Gad and half of Manasseh received land east of the Jordan as explained in Numbers 34:14-15.  Numbers 34:1-13 provides a detailed description of the borders of the land allocated to the remaining tribes. The region is called "the Land of Canaan" in  Numbers 34:2 and the borders are known in Jewish tradition as the "borders for those coming out of Egypt".

In Jewish tradition, Canaan was the son of Ham who with his descendents had seized the land from the descendents of Shem according to the Book of Jubilees. Jewish tradition thus refers to the region as Canaan during the period between the Flood and the Israelite settlement. Schweid sees Canaan as a geographical name, and Israel the spiritual name of the land

The uniqueness of the Land of Israel is thus "geo-theological" and not merely climatic. This is the land which faces the entrance of the spiritual world, that sphere of existence that lies beyond the physical world known to us through our senses. This is the key to the land's unique status with regard to prophecy and prayer, and also with regard to the commandments

Thus, the re-naming of this land marks a change in religious status, the origin of the Holy Land concept. Numbers 34:1-13 uses the term Canaan strictly for the land west of the Jordan but Land of Israel is used in Jewish tradition to denote the entire land of the Israelites. The English expression "Promised Land" can denote either the land promised to Abraham in Genesis or the land of Canaan, although the latter meaning is more common

According to the Bible, particularly in Genesis, the Land of Israel was promised as an everlasting possession to the "descendants" of Jewish patriachs Abraham, Isaac and Jacob by God, making it the Promise Land. Jacob's descendants were known as the "Children of Israel"  (often translated as "Israelites") and the land they inherited eventually became known as the Land of Israel.

All Arab nations can't unite and do some thing until the dictatorship is thrown away. Establish a Muslim democracy it will be helpful to bring all Muslim on one plate farm.Because all the Arab dictators' working under the influence of USA.

People say we are divided, but at the end of the day, each country has to take care of itself.

United as brothers and sisters, yes, but as nationals, no.

The term 'arab' generalizes different countries. I love all my brothers and sisters for example, I love all my brothers and sisters in Islam, and I love 'some' people in a national point of view.

For example, I don't really like the Saudi way of drinking or hypocracy in Bahrain. Does it mean I should unite with them? Depends on the cause.

From a political point of view it's a different story.

Andrews, Saudi Arabia does have a lot of oil, and that could be a good bargaining chip.

But the US controls the Saudi royal family.  The US protects them from uprisings, from Al Qaieda, from everything.  If Saudi, and OPEC generally, stopped selling cheap oil to the west, as the did in the last oil embargo, the US would open the gates of hell on Saudi Arabia.  It would be the end of the Saudi royal family and peace in the kingdom.

when Muslim ruled in golden age...these two things were there...they had blind trust on Allah, honest intentions and outrageous courage.

as now these things r long gone an so is the dignity and respect.

I dont think arabs can do something about Israel now, you guys need to unite first, you are too much divided and over taken by wealth and worldy matters.

or stop the matter making it an arab matter because this matter is not arab matter its Muslims matter and that all Muslims should unite against the Israeli regime. you know Masjid al Aqsa is there and the holy land.

so if you take the matter an arab matter then I am out, if its Muslim matter i am in.
