Baladeya

Hello,,

Few months ago I called Baladeya to come and check on the building where I’m living, because it has cockroaches, and some flats are being renovated and instead of throwing trash out in the bin they are keeping the trash in the building, where we walk and live..
They came, but what they said was really shocking.. Its not our job, we are not responsible for cleaning in the buildings or doing anything..
I said: at least contact the owner to do something..
But nothing, they just said; we will not do it, its not our responsibility..
If its not Baladeya’s responsibility and the owner don’t give a damn about the building and who’s living there..then what should be the solution?!
And I cant find anywhere else to go.. all are very expensive or small.

what should be the solution?!

Simply burn the garbage there in the building. Baladiya and owner of the building will then wake-up.

If you said Baladiya, its General meaning Doha Municipality, Baladiya composed of many departments, you should go or call to a right department, pest control is also another dept, trash absolutely another dept. In every department composed of many sections, inclusding cleaning section. Maybe you called a wrong guys that's why they told you "Is not their resposibility in cleaning up your home".

I would recommend you leave the building as it will be definitely owned by a Qatari and believe me the law is only for expats over here.
