Bargin flights?
anyone have any advice for finding cheap (or at least less expensive) flights from the US to Doha- round trip? We're trying to bring our son here for Christmas, and am appalled at the price of flights. Living here has gotten so expensive, and now so has getting in and out of here!
certainly for the non-gulf sectors, try Skyscanner.
If you log onto other sites, clear your cookies before you actually book as many airlines/agencies leave cookies on you computer and you will get a higher price the second time round.

the best we've been able to find is 2,000 US dollars! many are listed at 3-4 thousand dollars, US. I'll check the Cyprus route- thanks
looked into it but have you tried looking to go via (Say) Cyprus, Turkey or somewhere else. We did it and saved cash by going to Cyprus (return) with Gulf Air and then booking with Cyprus Airways to the UK (return). At that time Cyprus to the UK was the cheapest per mile in the world. We also travelled Malev (Hungarian) at a huge discount.
Now tickets can be booked on-line it should be doddle.
