Beach clubs

Does anyone know if you can go to the beach club at the Ritz or any other hotel and use it for a day. If so, any idea of how much. Just want to go to a nice pool with a beach for a day's treat.

Ritz-Carlton doesn't have a beach but you can enjoy the outdoor pool, the price for non Spa member is QR 250/person/day.

i think this info might be helpful for dozens of other users as well, who open this thread just from the curiosity...and also here you can share your own experience with different hotels. so i think there is no such a thing like "effective" or "non-effective" thread...they are all "effective"... just for different groups of users...

Xena,

no one is saying you can't ask any question you like. I have simply questioned the effectiveness of a post like this, as compared with phoning the outlet directly!

we paid ( i mean my boyfriend paid for both of us..lol..) in Intercon QR 400 on Friday! it was ridiculous.. but he said: what he h***, since we are here, i am not going back! And then add QR 11 for each small bottle of plain water, and i don't know how much for beer...and then a dinner in Fish Market restaurant on the beach of Intercon...so..it was a quit expencive "beach party"....And after that he got a membership..lol..He said: I paid for 1 visit almost as much as i paid for whole year membership...

Ritz charges about the same...

if you know what QL is all about you will know that it was started for that exact reason, to help others with question and queries in about Qatar.

Stephen11, please feel free to ask whatever questions you need answers to, here on this forum, Qatari started it for exactly that purpose.

Novi, is one of the most helpful people on the site, and you can always count on her and many others for input and info according to your requests

Stephen,

like I said, save yourself a lot of time, just pick up the phone and get on to the hotel (or whatever).

You will then get quick, completely accurate info from the prime source, rather than QL'ers estimating what they think the deal might be! So easy!

Have you been here long enough to discover the 'Marhaba' publication. If not, let me recommend it to you - it's full of info., and telephone numbers, web-sites, etc. Just QR 20 - go for it!

Thanks for the price quote - at that price I might just dig a hole in the backyard, get some floaties and a nice cold drink and a blown up picture of a nice beach. Again thanks.

As I am new to this forum I must have missed the protocol for posting. I thought any forum was for ASKING questions and not specific to experiences. If you think trawling for basic facts is not worthy of this forum please do not respond to my questions.

Wow, if you need to find out basic info. like this, why not give 'em a call. Or go totheir web-site. It's really easy to do. (And probably a lot quicker than posting).

Better to use QL to get people's opinions and experiences at the hotel, restaurant, shop, whatever, rahter than to trawl for basic facts which you can get yourself in seconds.
