Hello QL people! I'd like to gather any information from you guys because Im planning to have a holiday vacation in Europe this early of December. What do you think is the best place to visit there? I am much focus on historical and cultural sites. This is my first time and I dont have any idea. Some say that Italy is the best but it's really cold during this month. Any suggestions is a big help to me. Many thanks!

if you're looking for cultural and historial sites,

please, don't miss Barcelona, Spain and Milan, Italy.. but its winter! you might not be able to drive with that weather! try

cote d'azur is a very pretty paradise too! a 10-hour drive from Paris. come and visit the louvre! but i'm warning you, don't be disappointed with the Mona Lisa.

cheers,

paul

I like London in December. All the stores are so festively decorated I feel like I'm in a Dicken's novel.

Go for Italy. Buy a very warm winter coat. Just came back from 8 day visit to Piedmont, Lombardy, Lake Maggiore area, brilliant. Fantastic mountains and great historic houses. But some have less open hours due to end of season. It was cool, jumper and scarf but no coat.......yet. I'd definitely recommend it. Had a great time. Enjoy.

Like Alexa said, anywhere in Europe u go it will be very cold. But I think it's worth it to suffer a little. Anyway, u have enough heat stored into ur body from here in Qatar. :P I think it would be a nice experience after all thie extremely hot weather to go somewhere extremely cold and enjoy the snow and ice, but don't forget to dress really good. Ohhhhh do I miss snow and skying!

Italy is great, Greece is lovely also, Spain, all of them are very nice places, it's very hard to decide. Maybe Spain is little warmer. Good luck!

Yeah Italy is one of the best places i want to visit. I was granted for my annual vacation this December and I cant wait for the summer season. I called Qatar Airways last time regarding there holiday packages for the Grand Tour of Northern Italy and told me that its really cold during that period. It seems that they dont want me to go there. So sad...
