Thanks for letting me slide on the bad accent...I do understand about the incoherent thing...my former flatmate was British and sometime we needed a translator to have a conversation. Some things I said meant something totally different in England(usually something bad!) and same in reverse. We were always correcting each other depending on what country we were in at the time!

Someone's had too much to think!

Have a good time on Friday, sounds good. I wish I could come. Am bored because I don't live in Doha. Yes Johnjo will have to organise more things over the weekends. Lots of people sound keen and once we all meet hopefully friendships will be made. We (me and my husband, no kids) have not really found a group that we fit in here because we don't have any kids. At home we had lots of friends all sorts of different people, not a clique and that is what we would like to have here. Cliques are not my cup of english breakfast tea! And don't worry Scarlett, many british people are incoherant!

Will have to figure out HOW to get to Rydges but would love to meet up with you all. (not British but I can pretend..although my accent stinks!)

Friday is a possibility (with or without hub!)

I leave to go back to UK on 8 July (same as jasmine I think) and it would be nice to have a get together before then. I doubt I'll be back in Doha before end August.

Now we're talking, count me in! ;)

Though I lost the theme... is it a Brit's night? Or Mr. Paul's goodbye? Or both? Or neither?
