Briton passes driving test after 22 years
A woman in Britain passed her driving test at the 21st attempt after learning from 12 instructors over 22 years. Her effort, however, is nowhere close to an Indian-origin woman who set the world record by taking 48 driving tests.
The Guinness World Record for the most tests taken in the country is 48 and the record was set by Git Kaur Randhawa of Hayes, Middlesex.
Suzi Hughes first attempt to pass her driving test ended in failure and so did the next 19 attempts.
Hughes finally passed after 22 years of continous effort that included 21 practical tests, four theory tests, three test centres and 12 driving instructors.
