Car Window tinting

Hi

Which are the best places in Doha to tint car windows? And what are the regulations regarding this. Has anyone had done it recently? What are the costs?

Thanks in advance

did mine with Johnson in Salwa Road ... they charged me QR 1500 for my hyundai matrix all of the window. And then you have to get the permit from the traffic police. I paid 50 for the runner, and 25 (i think!) for the actual permit fees.

hi buddy

Yes according to the new traffic rule i dont think tinting is allowed

Rule Fine

Applying glass shade over the vehicle QR 1,000

I think it will be ok if you obtain prior permission from the traffic department by paying money. I do have car window tinting but its written on my istimara(road permit) that my car has a tinted window on it. My permit was before an year, i dont know wheather they accept when i renew it or not????

Almost all car accessories shops can help you get your car tinted. There's one on the left side after passing the MID MAC roundabout(MID MAC Roundabout) TEYSEER petrol station and many when you go from by crazy (signal/roundabout) towards sana roundabout.

Normal plastic film tinting costs Qr.30 per metre, but i'm not sure.
