Catholic Church in Qatar

I just arrived, from Philippines, here in qatar as an OFW. It is my first time to go abroad as well. So its amazing to know that we have some KABABAYANS here (actually many!). Much on my delight, I have seen alot when I attended the Filipino Catholic Mass somewhere in Industrial Area (if Im not mistaken). Truly, it created a sense of belongingness plus of course a sense of connection to God. To all kababayans there hope to meet you all!Im hoping to know some filipinos here and eventually become friends. I work as a fast food crew inside US Camp. To those interested pls do drop me a message.Promise to respond. And by the way thanks for QL, such a great website--very informative!

ida2008, really this is a crazy world! first, i think im wrong in associating the catholic church in meeting up new friends where the whole point are: first, I appreciate having a catholic church in Moslem country & very glad to see how large the ofw community we have..and secondly, stating some "unclear" statements on my comment, as if im a looser or some sort, simple translation: pinoys are friendly!... Indeed, Crazy world!... again, tnx for the comments... keep posting....

hey DMD you a**hole, stop trying to act like freaking Hero here. Yeah obviously, he is asking for those interested to make him friends... isnt that pathetic??? asking if people are interested to make u friends? duh!....., and the term "to those who are interested"seem to be a commonly misused and misunderstood term over the web, so it needs a little bit of clarity?

But anyways, obviously u r interested in him hahaha... go suck donkey d**k HERO....

thanx to all who have commented... well, really theres a lot to thank for... HH Amir of Qatar for allowing the Church, to know that our priest is a filipino also and for the advises you guys have given--DMV 481,hawker,rinopepito and also to you yallah. I will take note of that and will make that the guideline of my stay here (especially being humble and kind enough to other nationalities). Also thank you for welcoming me...Shokran jeddan!

Welcome to Qatar cerebrojho. Just focus yourself that you are here to work for your family. Don't do anything bad that would ruin your reputation especially at work, and fellow filipinos as well. Be kind to all regardless of nationalities. Goodluck.

Clarify what??? Kindly read AGAIN the post of cerebrojho26! Since he just arrived here in Qatar, he just want to meet some filipinos (kababayan) and eventually to become his friends. His message is very clear and the intention is purely to make friends. I don't think he meant more than that.

To those interested pls do drop me a message

- What do you mean "interested"'?...

Interested in what?... clarify... otherwise, we'll think you are some sort of a loser trying to advertise yourself craving for people's attention.
