Is it only me or do other people think that there is NO Customer Service here....Am I the only one that gets the feeling of "if you wanna buy it fine - if not that's fine too" when going to purchase something...

What happened to the Customer comes first ??

much of the businesses are run by underpayed employees (or so they think). the boss rarely comes around, and contents with monthly "chiffre d'affaires".

the employees r thus not eager to serve u, because by serving u, it's more work for them, with nothing in return, and no one in the administration will praise them for doing so. so for a fixed salary, better work as minimum as possible not to get fired.

Oh, people can come up with statistics to prove anything, Kent. 14% of people know that.

Qatar Logistics. These folks were so professional and well mannered from the first call, to the estimate to the packing and then unpacking. They not only insured that I will use them again but I have sent so much business to them based on that experience. Now my friends who have used them are sending other people to them.

YES! Customer service works! If you pay a little more in salaries to get professional and presentable people to operate your business you will have a much better business than the one who doesn't invest in getting the best employees for the job.

that the company who will take customer service seriously and take it to the highest level will surely dominate Qatar's market. that's a little tip for those who want to make big it here in Qatar. :)

What I find lacking is the management position regarding customer service. And the worst has to be QTEL, Qatar Cablevision and the (presumably) independent contractors who work for them. In 10 years I have only once had a decent customer service experience with QTEL or Qatar Cablevision. And that was when QTEL sent a very professional guy to my house to install Mozaic last May. He was clean, well spoken, new how to do his job and was able to explain things to me clearly. I actually followed up with a letter to QTEL to praise his work.

Unfortunately, yesterday I wrote another letter to QTEL to complain about the very unprofessional, unknowledgeable, unwashed and rude man they sent to my house to fix Mozaic which has not worked for 2 weeks now. I followed that up with a phone call asking them to NEVER send this man to my house again. UGH!

....I suggest, only people from Phillipines may be given the task of "Customer Services" (here).....they are the best among all (here).

PS: Agreed with the initial post.

the eternal question: is it only me?

no its not only you .. most of people here have experinced at least 2 bad customer service encounters, i guess

its very difficult to understand why... i mean cutomers are the main cash depositers in any buesiness .. yet they treat them like they are beggers not customers .. can't find a proper explanation for that

most of the time you'll find that they deal with their customers based on their physical appearance...

Don't expect such CS when inflation is very high here in Qoha. Naturally they will have nothing good to tell

Well, from my experienced if you dressed well enough, sales lady or sales man will approach you eventhough you don't need their assistance but if you are just wearing simple clothes they will not even bother to approach you even you have the money to buy things they will approach those wearing white tobes who's just roaming around and will not buy anything at all.
