Did I hurt your religious feelings?

Question:
Is it worth marrying someone from a different race to have mixed race babies?

My answer
"please dont ask such questions, if you love the person and want to spend rest of your life with him/her ...just marry

Dont marry someone because you want fair skinned babies. Color of the skin/race/religion etc.... got nothing to do in a marriage. Its the love and compatibility that matters."

With due respect....How many of you think that my comments hurt your religious feelings?

i am hurt BY QUESTION, not by the ANSWER...

"IS IT WORTH marrying..."?..excuse me.. WORTH - WHAT??? to marry the one you love, to marry the one you would love to spend the rest of your life? well.. since you set the question that way "is it WORTH..?", the answer is NO, not for you at least, just forget about it, and better never get married in your life..

i love mixed races, mixed colors (white with the olive is my favo mix), mixed environments...

Not at all.. You did not say anything offensive what so ever.. I think people are trying to read too much between the lines and the problem is that they reading it all wrong..

As long as you do not get any PM or warning from the moderator of this site, don't worry about anyone else.

I am a Muslim too and so far nothing you said has offended me in any way.

Why would you want to be friends with a God who's trying to get you to kill your son?

above anyone or anybody BUT NOT ABOVE GOD/ALLAH. Abraham is willing to sacrifice his son just to prove his love of GOD and he was awarded dearly by GOD. He became GOD's friend.

there is nothing hurting there ... you are right to some point if both of them would agree that religion won't be an issue. But my question is ... The kids will follow whom? The father's religion or the mother's religion? You knwo that they can't follow both ... would be a great disturbance to them at an early age ...

reading through your post, my immediate answer is, we all can love God/Allah etc but our family and especially our children should be loved and cherished above anyone or anything else.

the question was about marrying a different race not religion. If the question is about religion, then your post is ok.

But since you have mentioned it already, I will comment on your last post.

Nobody will argue that LOVE is and the highest reason why someone or anybody wants to get married. But it how you define LOVE and the sequence of priorities when it comes to LOVE. For me, it is clearly written that anyone who love anything or someone more than HIM is not worthy of HIM.

And there is no exception, it further said that if you love your children more than your love to HIM, or you love your parents more than HIM, then you are not worthy of HIM. But it doesn't meant that you should not love your children or your parents or your girlfriend/boyfriend. It just define who should be love above all.

So if someone wants to choose who to marry, irregardless of race, culture or whatever, the priority is "is this person acceptable to my conviction? Is this person same as my belief in GOD/ALLAH? or simply, Is this person belong to the same religion I have?" You may have to adjust to one's culture and race and tradition, but the two have to agree in how to serve GOD/ALLAH in the same way and the only way is to have the same religion (as written in the scripture.

You can disregard all other requirements or condition for your future partner in life but you should not discount the basic requirement of GOD ABOVE ALL.

I mean, LOVE, Friendship, christ these are wayyyyyy above any such religion...

everything does happen for a reason girl...but yeah as much as I might have said it nicely, I did hate writing that last line about LOVE BEING ABOVE EVERYTHING...Yuckkkieee...LOL!!!

'love has no boundaries" if you fall in love, or you have friends that you love, no religion, background, race, colour or creed should matter.

You don't question why you love who you love, you just do, it happens and everything happens for a reason.

I personally, have good friends, different only in their religious beliefs, however, we respect each other and enjoy each other as friends above all else.

O my somebody told something to my Numero Uno girl...damn I say...people are so obsessed with religion, I mean if you are that much obsessed get your azzes back in the house and preach no, why step out into the public on a CHANGE THE WORLD MISSION, such a damn bunch of pathetic loooooosers...

I say, there are so many people on this site that I know, and hell am I not proud to have them as my friends or what, especially I would have to say a quick mention about DaRude, Khanan, Speed I mean they come from the neighbouring country which hasnt had good relations with my country, but they are such good friends of mine (and not to forget even the other few paki buggers LOL! that I have met at Cricket), but these three I'm close to thats why, I mean these three dont bother about Religion, Race, nuthing, its pure friendship and boy am I not proud to have them as my friends...

Same thing to be said about TCom, Smoke, other two buggers, being from a different religion, dont even bother to bring that part into any discussions that we have had so far...

So why people why, i mean so what if you are a die hard fan of religion, dont keep on preaching about it, there is more to life, FRIENDSHIP and RELATIONS rather than just RELIGION...

Pheeeewww I had to tell the VOTE OF THANKS TO THOSE 3 BUGGERS TODAY, alright now I m free again...LOL!

I mean seriously people, alright I accept you are from this religion, this race but then why is it that people dont think of this before getting into a relation if you think you cant go the extra mile in this relation then dont take the first step ... cos these are things in which you need to be firm bout yourself and your soceity, there are going to be helluva troubles, but thats where the EXTRA MILE steps in...if you are ready go for it, otherwise dont do it rather whats more crap is after taking so many steps then you start thinking of religion, race and all crap for which I only can say, for once (as much as I hate saying this), LOVE IS ABOVE ALL My friends...and that is something truly that YOU GET FROM GOD Upstairs...so dont MISUSE IT,...

CHEERS...(yuck I hated saying that last few words about LOVE)...

i dont feel offended by this thread dont know what you were upto before. secondly, Islam is a religion of openness and i dont see any threat if you are talking about it.

third, for me and majority of the muslims religion has big role in marriage.

fourth, ignore such people that writes you pm to preach, Allah guides to those who strive. No Compulsion and obsession.

P.S: dont also mistake arabs with muslims.
