Doha - Water Taxi - The Pearl

We are soon to be moving to the The Pearl and I was wondering if there were any more details on the water taxi system, where it runs, how it works, what it costs?

Like most things here there's historic web pages from about 2011 saying how good it will be.

Is it running?

Have a look at the Pearl ladies network Facebook page for a lot more information about living at the Pearl.

Hello. Yes we have a water taxi at The Pearl. It operates just around the towers in Porto Arabia though and not to the other areas of The Pearl such as QQ and VB. It operates from 9.30am - noon by an on call basis and from then the taxis are going back and forth, so you just get on. It takes about 20 mins for a full loop. The tickets for residents are 100qr per month and that is for unlimited rides for 2 adults and 2 children. You need to show proof of residency. For others it is a different rate. It gets busy on weekends.
