in-experience car computer check and car sale problems
Last one and half year back I bought a car after having computer inspection from bird computer, they told me there are some problems to be fixed urgently some minor fixes, one was related to engine mounting(due to which he said causing vibration) second AC, and other small fixes rest is OK no major engine chasis issues, hence after negotiation I bought the car.
so I went to mechanic to fix these urgent issues so he ask to bring some AC SLAJA and Engine MAIN Mounting as stated above which cost me around 3500QAR and half of which I deducted when purchasing.
so when I gave it to mechanic to change next day he return me both parts saying these parts are OK Vibration is due to alignement and AC issue is due to some other issue I fixed,
you should return the parts so when I went back to NISSAN to return the part they say we cannot return for so so so reasons, you have to take alternate part, so in replace of mounting I took one part and NISSAN XTRAIL AC SLAJA is still with me costing 2000QAR...:(
so during one and half year I keep the car like new car I ran it 15000KM and done 4 service properly with anything needed to be changed regulary done, during this I done one istemra they did it professionally and without any technical issue they passed the test
then now(after one and half year) I wanted to sold my car as I got new car, so one party finalized, he took the car for computer check(GERMANY COMPUTER) and SHOCKINGLY they said all small issues but engine is not OK and it is eating oil, so party refuses....I was really shocked and nearly explaining like baby to the buyer that he is not saying it right I never put engine oil before service bla bla I have bought the car in good engine condition, istemra just done and OK, 4 services in just 15000kms how can be engine problematic....bla bla but party refuses.....
then another second buyer took me to another computer check(something like NEW COMPUTER bla bla), they said you chasis is HIT from front, I was shocked more then before, and again partly tried to make use of it situation and decrease the price to 1/3 of original, again I was really shocked...I nearly fight with computer check pplz you said only front/back bumper repaint slight scratches/repaint in whole body then how can a CHASIS is hit?????? again buying party refuses....:(
now you will laugh to hear what happened next
Another third buyer again took me to same GERMANY Computer, and did FAHAS/computer check, this time they didnt found any major problems in car and surprisingly even Engine aswell they said it is OK and just now I finalized the car with same third buyer and it is now sold from traffic department.
In the end I just want to say these COMPUTER CHECKS in-experience and are time waste and a way to earn money

Car problem should be consulted to the expert for better inspection. Plus, be careful in buying or selling cars without reviewing it a hundred times. You really cant tell how reliable dealers are. Especially ladies who are new in automobile venture should consult their bothers or fathers to get to know more about vehicles. do you know it is really very sad to say...one of my friend told me be careful when SELLING or BUYING old cars, because when pplz goto to computer check they bribe the inspection man there to decrease or increase the price of the car.
so best thing is dont let the buyer or seller talk to anyone there once report is complete and printed then he can discuss it in detail the condition of the car and issues.
all are business minded no one can be reliable from these computer checks best option is to have good mechanic friend take the car to him and thoroughly make inspection

If ever you need a car checked, you only need to go to the Bosch Service Center. Qr.500/- for a bumper to bumper inspection or Qr. 250/- for a core systems check like engine/transmission.
Three branches in Industrial Area and Wakra. International brand with the needed experience and equipment.
I don't see why anyone even bothers with those shady places when you got the best in the business right here in Qatar.
Failing all else, the dealership is the best option, at a price of course
