Last week i applied for family visa for my 2 kids directly to immigration at Gharafa (which is the new process), unfortunately it was rejected

Fellow QL Peeps, if you encountered similar to what happened to me recently, what will be the next step?

Hi,

You can ask them why it got rejected, sometimes their might be some documents missing or some kind of miss understaning abt some documents. Once u found the reason you can ask for a meeting with the captain, where you will get a chance to justify your side and show proof(like any missing doc or clarifications about some documents submitted).

Then he can revise the decision if he is convinced.

One of my friend went through the same situation long before, but that time labor department was responsible for this process not immigration dept, as you said it new process.

Wish you good luck.

Your nationality is American? And you are still struggling to get the visa for your family? Strange really!

Go in the morning to immigration gate 4 first floor (committee for looking into incomers' applications). If possible, go with a friend who knows arabic because the people sitting there hardly speak english. Then ask them that your application is rejected and if they do not give a proper answer, request them a bit firmly (but not rudely) to speak to the Manager.
