Filipinas: The Real Issue

flor1212
By flor1212

It can not be denied that a lot of discussion were tackled in the main forum regarding Filipinas. And more often than not, highlights were the negative views. Is that really the real score?

is it normal for others to judge in general for mistake by the few? Was that really how life goes here in QL or in other forum?

Hope there will be decency in the discussion of this issue!

gtm, they are. Thing is, many disguise that natural beauty with loads of silicone.

what fake beauty of Lebanese? I don't think so. Lebanese women are naturally beautiful.

Jack, put your finger on the face or somewhere else and push. If it doesn't return to the original form within 5 seconds it is a fake face or something else. Silicon needs longer to recover.

lol there are also some "fake" Filipinas..

By anonymous• 7 Jul 2010 15:49

By anonymous• 7 Jul 2010 15:48

Yeah, Jack. But the Lebanese are fake and the Filipinas are real.

I understand the dilema that you are going through at this point. I share the same thoughts with you.

It's quite a pity that there are really many Filipinas who opted to have "easy money" and free themselves from working hard. They have established an entirely different "re-puta-tion" (sorry for the word I used)

Now this kind of re-puta-tion seems to be applicable to all Filipinas now. This is really the cruel part that Filipinas have to face here.

But it's their choice, they have their reasons...

Let's just think of this and I always believe that-------

For as long as we don't step on other people, we don't abuse, hurt neither use them -- we can sleep peacefully and eat with full appetite.

If the majority of what you see if bad then obviously that is what you will feel about that race.

I am sad to say that what I have seen so far is the bad side - am not saying that this means all Filipinas are bad but the majority spoil it for the rest.

Sorry but you maybe a real nice decent person - but what I have seen is that they are only out for what they can get and dont care how they do it.

And as said before its an open forum and people are free to air their views as they wish.

Of course, negative side is always the talk of the town.. Who cares about the positive side, they are just boring.. I cannot judge those Filipinas, cannot criticized those who judge them as well..

Each and every person will have their own perspective on everything. The unlikely bebaviours and conducts of a certain percentage of some communities will be considered as the culture of that community by some percentage of people from a different community. There are lots of Filipino staff in our Company and few of them are creating a bad impression about the whole community but it does not mean that all of them are bad.

It will better not to discuss the issue here.

well in this forum - the positive far outweighs the negative. in reality there will of course be the few broken eggs. generally filipinas/filipinos are loved here which is why filipinos are 2nd only to indians in terms of resident population.

We find different types of people in all nationalities, we cannot characterize a nation taking into account of a few good or bad individuals.

There r good people but r hard to find whereas baddies r visible everywhere

Is there any nationality who doesn't care with what other nationality thinks about them? i doubt. We all care for our images. Who would want to be stepped on the neck and be called with some unlikely terms? Nobody.

The world we are living in is not ideal in the eyes of many. If only we could use the vision of a child where everything is pure and ideal. :)

flor1212, i have read such threads even before joining QL. and as much as i wanted to comment, i can't (i wasn't a member then, my fault).

what i feel is that, however we want to clean the image of Filipinas, or even tell the whole world not to generalize the society, people got their own way of thinking.

Filipinas in general are smart and intellectual women, i must say. :)
