Flight Imformation Operator Problem

I have got lot of problems by calling the airport flight imformation operator @ 44622999.
the pick up the phone and hang up immediately.
i have lost many credit by calling this number.

why does it happen so?
why is airport authority now aware of this?

if you are in interested to know the flight info - check online using the advise given above, if u are interested in the operator - keep calling the number!

but then what aboout the operator??..why are they simply setting up a landline??
