You may find this one rather ignorant question but please let me know, what is the meaning of the various symbols that are placed on the left hand side of the forum topic?

What do you mean by;

Open Black Envelope

Closed Black Envelope

Open Yellow Envelope

Closed Yellow Envelope

Does it mean whether any discussion is open or closed?

And WOW!!! its changing!!! When I had posted this topic the envelope awarded to me was Black one, Now see....I got a Yellow Envelope!! But sadly both are closed one...

I have "Ads by Google" on the left hand side. No "envelope" messages.
