Freak Occurrance??

QT
By QT

Hypothetically speaking now (I'm not saying it's me)

If you moved half way across the world (and I do mean half way across the world, let say from the UK to Dubai) to get away from all the old stresses at home and start a new life,

What would you think?, What would you do?, and How would you react?...

... if you just found out that your recent ex-partner who you dated for 5 years has also just moved to the same city 6 weeks after you?

Would you freak out? would you say it was fate? or just put it down to coincidence?.

Would you hide the body in the desert??? (erm... joke, I think)

hhmmmm...???  Undecided

(anyway, I'm off out to erm... erm.. not catch up with someone, erm... cos I'm not talking about me! and I'll check on your replies when I get back)

I moved to the same town with my "ex" about one year ago.. and we are both happy... with OUR OWN lives.. each one with his/her own one...

we don't bump into each other, we don't intersect with each other.. we haven't met accidently even once during all this time of 1 year and 4 months!! we do not see each other unless  "the gathering" is arranged at least couple of days in advance... even that one happens very rarely, as each one is too busy and mind his/her own business... so.. just let her live wherever she wants to live... nothing wrong with that...

,...yeah.. and we didn't just "dated" for the same period of time of 5 years.. I would call it somehow differently, much deeper and much more serious...

Exactly my point! 100% bonafide Wooism. I wouldn't be shocked to learn that she also kept some of (said person's) short and curlies for a menacing and unsavoury broth.

OR Qatar/ (Dubai) sounded like a good idea to her too as she had nothing left in (say) the UK for anymore. Awwww.

More likely the first conclusion though.

Happens to me...I keep bumping into people I don't want to confront. At the mall, when stopping at the traffic light, in a restaurant (look at the other table, and there he sits)

I say if you bump into her then you were probably meant to (bump into her, that is). Go with what your instinct is telling you if you do happen to meet.

Now thats a scary thought, I wont be able to face my x if i see her here. Too embaressing. But i wont be stressful, cuz i know i can handle the situation. It depends from person to person.

It's always the small things that make big differences.
