Free Will vs. Determinism
By MarcoNandoz-01 •
...We make choices every day from simple to important decisions in our lives.
The way we come to those decisions brings the controversy of The Great Debate:
Free Will vs. Determinism...
.
.
Which brings up the ages old debated question.
Do Have Freewill? or is everything pre-determined?
free will is a birthright of very human being to make personal choices and decisions. Each of us was gifted of wisdom to decide and choose - the right thing or otherwise.
in case our choice did not succeed it means it is not meant to be as how it is wished.(because of the external force of natural law -determinism)
As a Muslimah I believe that whilst things of this world are according the divine decree of our Lord, He has still given us free will and the right to chose.
Personally most of what I do in my life is by my free will, though that said there are plenty times that things happen for which you honestly feel you have no control over. Be it good or bad, situations arise in life that you cannot prevent, but again how you then deal with them will be according to your free will.
nice video. u made me think my father.once me and father travelling in bus.I was sleeping and when I woke up,I saw my father was eating...when i asked he straightaway given without hesitating....Because his broadminded still GOD making him to live healthily without any disease. I think being broad minded, GOD likes the mind...only MIND is important...body is just for experiment...
lol
NM: true said. And especially after an election. One cant help but wonder :P
Free Will is what GOD has given in nature. Determination is to follow Right Path with GODs given Free Will.
ok, just googled it.
I think that it is both. There are the "natural" or "universal " laws, that we can't avoid. BUT, we can make the choice to know and understand them to then have them work to achieve what are our choices.
What is "determinism"?
