going gungho in the desert with friends

has anybody tried the lake at khor al udeid?

take your friends on a full moon or a inky dark night

you can go with the tours. that is living in doha. if you have yr girl friend with you so much the better or what ever type of friend you have.

take enough water and food and a 4wd vehicle.

I've seen that lake while driving past last weekend. We thought it was just a mirage in the desert. ;-)

there were french family stranded in that lake few weeks back, picture was in the paper. Lucky the gulf times journalist in the helicopter spotted them.

I am interested to go but we dont have 4X4 vehicle. Can you recomend any tour guide for us please to do this trip? that sound like fun and I bet is peaceful there.
