Good Idea??

I have an idea for a business that I hope someone can start here in Qatar, please tell me what you all think of this idea? It would be a company that you could call to order food from any restaurant in Doha. They would then call that restaurant place the order, then pick it up and deliver it to the customer for a fee. Those answering the phone would have to be really fluent in English and Arabic and also really know the Doha area.

The reason I think this would be a great idea is that lately I have a real hard time ordering food. It seems that more restaurants are hiring workers that don't speak that much English nor do they know the area. So it has been taking me 15 minutes to explain what I want and then another 10 minutes to explain where I live!

Please feel free to help shape this idea so maybe someone can start this up. Apparently they already have this type of business up and running in Bahrain. I hear they even have a website so you can order online!

only if you have your own restaurant. Else you will have to go to that restaurant & spend 15min waiting for it to be ready, then spend another 15min for delivery and another 5-10min to return.

thetruth.....u have gone mad...LOL...I like it :p

ITProf...I think your idea sounds good, but can you seriously see something like that running smoothly in Doha? They would be like, 'oh sorry sir but we don't deliver that far', 'that will be extra 20QR for driving a further 100m.'etc etc

I havn't thought about your business idea. I think I will be rich enough with my original invention. so I will leave the side business for you to make some bucks. see I am a very generous man.

ITProof- How would your company make money? Would you charge a delivery fee only? The cost of hiring delivery cars and driver would be way more than the usual 3 Riyals delivery charge that KFC charge.....

The Truth - You have issues!!!!

not being a cat person I find that hilarious, can you also staple the cats paws to a long handle and use it as a mop after said toilet cleaning??

I have a idea for a Toilet Cleaning Business. Here it goes.... I wonder how to market the idea. Instructions are as follows:-

Toilet Cleaning Instructions

1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl.

2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.

3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids. You may need to stand on the lid.

4. The cat will self-agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from the toilet; the cat is actually enjoying this.

5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a "power-wash and rinse".

6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door.

7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can and quickly lift both lids.

8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom and run outside where he will dry himself off.

9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean.

not bad but not good either, so I would have to not only pay the fee for calling you but also the fee for your services, when, at the end of the day I could call the restaraunt directly and shout down the phone until the poor chap on the other end understood my order.

Nah will stick to the original plan.
