Got a new Smart Phone® will it work in Qatar?
My daughter in Las Vegas bought me a new Smart Phone™ amongst many other going away gifts. I didn't think I would like it more than my old flip phone but I do, I'm addicted to some of the applications (I'll explain what applications are later) but now I'm scared. Will it work in Qatar? Do they support these new Smart Phones™ there? And how is cell phone service in general there? This phone could really help me with my job and I hope that if if this kind of technology is not supported there that it will be soon- the phone cost $695 and I'd hate for it to go to waste.
I never got a good answer the that question
It was a very important 'secret" message
but the firemen came and 20 policemen to put out the fire...grrrrr
Happy go lucky
Where did my thread go?
You really got an attitude don't you? I'm just trying to get some info- No disrespect intended
bring some good shoes as well, since you will need to walk a lot in the scorching sun
What happened to OP's 'dating a local' thread???
I just recieved a secret PM (not mentioning any names, so don't ask) that solved all my phone problems..I can't tell you how the PM solved it, but it did the trick!
I'm good to go now
END OF SUBJECT
I just left to play golf for 6 hours..
Are you alive?
And yes I activated here..It works in Mexico if thats any help?..The Mall is closed until 11am Vegas time, 12 here in Denver. The guy better not of sold us a CDAMA phone, i'll catch the next flight out there and exchange it before its too late
your biggest concern is if its a GSM phone..as long as you can install a sim into it you should be fine...
really hope it's not a CDMA phone...if it is, your out of luck..
you will be able to use wifi features no matter the signal protocol..
is your phone on a plan in the US?
i got my smartphone infuse 4g from usa and it works very good
even if it is locked for a certain network
it can be unlocked
wish u enjoy ur new phone
I hope it's GSM..I'll call the guy at the Tivoli village where she bought it
If the phone is a GSM phone it will work, but if it is a CDMA phone it will not work. Qatars GSM network is a so called 3.5G network and it's pretty fast.
Its the Samsung Epic 4G Android, Super Amoled- and can connect using:
3G
4G
Bluetooth or WiFi
3G will work for me, but I'd really like 4G service- Do they have 4G there?
Which is that smartphone which will not work in Qatar?
