Hair Crew Mens Salon at Nuaija. They are open 24 hours

Ask for Shahnawaz at the Reception, I think he works from 8pm to 8am.

He is the best barber in whole of Qatar. I can say that after my 27 years stay here...

I will suggest the Gents Saloon in Westin Doha. Its called "First Class Gents Saloon" and its run by Yacoub & his distant cousin (from Turkey).

biobil is not the best place to go if you want a decent job

they are funny filipinos.. indeed

bas they are not serious and do not cut well..

ask for a shave? they cut me 3 times...

careful.. careful

only go there if you dont have anywhere to go for a hair cut

a hair cut is a hair cut.. ur hair grows back

but if u want a nice easy going experience.. do not go here

For those still looking, as I was, I found a number of barber shops, at least one of which is good because I used it (!), at the "Town Centre" shopping area, opposite Al Ahli Hospital. Very happy with the service and the result. Cost QR35.

I would rather pay 15 riyal and i'm happy, then pay 70 riyal and your happy. The customer is always right, first rule of business!

As with MOST things in this town, either the bloody four seasons for Qrs.100 plus or neighbourhood barber shop for Qrs.20,NO CHOICE in between that...mind you, there's no guarantee that the 4 seasons place will be good,he would NEED to charge you Qrs. 100 or more to pay his rent, that price is no indication of quality...what i miss here as compared to the real world is a professionally trained men's hair saloon that's reasonably priced, say Qrs. 50 for a cut, that's between the neighbourhood Bengali/Filipino for Qrs. 20 & 4 seasons for Qrs.100 plus...

that the saloons wich charge less are better, specailly if you tip em... cause they have more expericnce as they cut more hair, plus they pay you specail attention... they might not know the names of the hair style, but if you are able to express what you want, i fink they'll do a pretty good job

bahraini, sure there are! and i actually believe they are one of the best in this business!

Jarmo, I have different friends who go to few barber shops for years now...

even my black american friends go to turkish barber shops and get real nice haircuts.

good luck!

If you're looking for a problem, you're probably gonna find one.

aren't there any turkish hairdressers here???

they pay good attention to your hair and facial ... we have them scattered all around bahrain and thought it would be the same here ... and you're talking about 100-120-150 riyals for a haircut i find that expensive as those turkish in bahrain charge around 30 and if you have facial it might reach the limits you are talking about ... but 100 or 120 for only hair cut thats a bit expensive isn't it?

Hi, thanks for all the ideas of where to have my next haircut! If won't be at Patrice!

I went to Patrice at Villaggio and was deeply disappointed. They charged QAR 75. The price wasn't what I was after; I just wanted a decent cut! I'd call my session there HAIRCHOP! The guy who did my hair was not involved for a more than a minute trying to find out what I wanted and this is the worst cut I had since my mother did a "pot cut" for me when I was 5 or 6 years old. The Filipino hair dressers carried on a loud conversation between themselves discussing their personal problems, living arrangements etc.

Mohammed Sagheer salon at Sharq resort(I think its 100 per cut) and the one at Beverly Hills tower (much cheaper) I think the barber there is back from his holiday. You can call him and ask- 6645481.

Some little barber shops dotted around Al-Sadd, cheap and they will give you lots of attention; haircut, shave and sometiimes pull your fingers till they crack.   I go to this place and they switch the tv to the english tv for me to watch and sometimes shout for a tea.   True the haircut might not be great or good but its a fun little adventure and much more exciting than going to the fancy hotels barbers, plus it supports my local businesses of Al-Sadd.

How much do those hair cuts at the Four Seasons, the Landmark and the Villaggio cost? And how much is a haircut at a barber shop?

What about good men's barber shops - aren't there any of those around town?

Four Seasons do mens hair on Sundays. There's also one in Salam shopping mall. I think the Sheraton have one also. Beverly Hills Tower have one but he's on holiday at the moment.
