Hamir (donkeys) elementary school

Ever wondered where donkeys study?!!

While i was driving on the sunny streets of Doha and enjoying the scenery i came across something that almost made me crash into the cars in front of me (not that doesn’t usually happen due to the extra talented drivers in this country).

i finally found out where Hamir (donkeys) go to school and i actually found the school that actually graduates Hamir (donkeys). (I bet it has a driving school attached to it)

Check the picture and you will figure out my bewilderment! lol

Sorry but i couldnt take the English part of the writing, however get your Arabic reading friends to confirm it to you :p

It could also be himyar, Arabic is that way when we don't write the diacritics (حركات)

حَمير= Hameer= Donkeys

حُمير = Humair = A family name, comes from the red color.

حِميَر = Himyar = A tribe in Yemen.

and maybe something completely different...

You are absolutely right Ram (even though I think it is Bu Humair tribe and not Humair plain), but unfortunately in Arabic humair and hamir are spelled exactly the same, thus you can reed it either hamir or humair!

It is pretty sure though, that a himar chose to name a school humair.

now you have proved it all those up who posted are really HUMARS

RED Means AHMAR not Humair

Donkey Means Himar (single) and Hameer or Hamir (Plural)

Humair Means a name of a person which was taken from one of the most prominent Arab tribes (which is the one on the bus)

I hope there is no more confusion ...

nope it's not photoshopped ..

But in Arabic ... there is a different between "Hamir" and "Houmair"

in arabic both are written the same .. but the way u pronounce it .. makes the difference in the meaning ..

and Salvatory I loved the way u wrote the thread .. it's so funny .. and yes in the first sight .. i thought it's Hamir .. anyway there are a lot of them here in this country .. specially those in the attached driving school .. lol ..

thanks for the smile ..
